Last week I came home from my business trip and my youngest was sick.  This week I’ve been trying to play catch up from my business trip but my oldest and husband were sick.

But the great news, it is Friday and everyone is feeling better.  Which is even greater news because

Sunday we will be celebrating my baby’s 2nd birthday!  Where did the two years go?  But the even greater, greater news is

On her actual birthday, Monday, August 20th, we are heading to Branson for our family vacation!  So the last two weeks of grinding through all the work and sickness can finally be put to rest so we can kick up our feet and enjoy ourselves.

And can I get an AMEN on this weather?  I was just telling my husband that all the complaining of the hot weather in July is completely forgotten about with this unbelievably beautiful August weather.  I’m loving it!

I’m hoping that while I’m on vacation I will be able to relax a bit and get back into blogging on both my blogs.  I hate how work grabs ahold of me and rips away my free-time like that.  I really need to start buying that lottery.

Did anyone else see the video on Yahoo called “The Mirror-Free Bride?”  The video was awesome and I encourage you to watch it and visit her blog, Mirror, Mirror…OFF the Wall.  Pretty darn cool.  I would love to see something like this help reshape our culture before my girls grow up!
