All these devoted themselves with one accord to prayer, together with some women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers

On this Pentecost, I just want to reflect on the above sentence.   Mary, the Mother of God, was the closest the Apostles could be to Christ.

They knew that then but many don’t know that now.

If you want to be closer to Christ, love His mother.  Honor His mother.

Ask His mother to be with you in your times a fear, sadness, happiness.  The Apostles did.  So why don’t we?
